Bushmills is an ancient distillery with roots a thousand years old and maybe even more. The army of Henry II loved to drink Bushmills but it was not until 1608 that the distillery became officially licensed and recognized by King James I, and not until 1784 that it was registered as a company. The Irish diaspora carried the traditions of Bushmills to America and the new world, as did Bushmills victories at international spirit and whiskey competitions. The Old Bushmills Distillery, a world heritage site, is Ireland's oldest working distillery.

A millenia of tradition, Bushmills is one of the very few Irish Malt whiskeys available. Each drop of Bushmills Malt is carefully distilled three times and is made from 100% malted barley. One of the world's most distinctive fine spirits and ancients marques, the Bank of Northern Ireland issued a series of sterling banknotes that feature an illustration of the Old Bushmills Distillery. Bushmills 10 Year Old is treated to an extended period of maturation for at least ten years in American oak barrels that have previously been used to age bourbon.

Although all of seven Islay distilleries produce very different Malts, they do have similar machinery. Part of life on an island is a reliance on your neighbour. This is why at each of the distilleries, you will find sheds filled with some very old parts. These are often rusted or broken but you never know when an old spring or cog can be reused in an emergency. Bunnahabhain XXV is an non chill filtered spirit, with natural colour and a higher strength of 46.3%, delivered in an Alder wooden chest lined with Hessian and closed with solid brass fittings.

Since 1881, Bunnahabhain has always started out the same way, with good quality malted barley, clean pure Margadale spring water and a little yeast. It may not be a beach to rival the Côtes d´Azures, but Bunnahabhain offers the perfect resources to produce the world's best Malt. Bunnahabhain's gentle taste is unique because the fine malted barley is never heavily peated, the source of local natural spring water has run clear for over a hundred years, and the sea-facing warehouses provide the perfect environment for maturing the finest spirit.

Bunnahabhain is now an unchilled filtration spirit, a move which has excited Whisky enthusiasts around the world. It is a privilege to be responsible for the creation of the Bunnahabhain water of life, which after twelve long years, goes into the distinct green bottles. The colour, nose, flavour and consistency will be made up from several different casks, the marriage of which is the role of the Master Distiller. He must match the elements and characteristics of many single casks to the unique taste profile of Bunnahabhain's signature Malt.

The history of Bundaberg Rum began over a hundred years ago in the Bundaberg sugar cane region of Queensland. Bundaberg first began producing commercial sugar in 1872, but the real boom came in the 1880s when Queensland enjoyed a surge of economic growth. In 1888, several of the small producers distilling Rum out of the molasses left over from sugar refining, established the Bundaberg Distilling Company. Bundaberg Watermark is a limited release for the benefit of all who have been affected by the 2011 Queensland flood disaster.

Bundaberg Rum began over one hundred years ago in the sugar cane districts of Queensland. The town of Bundaberg boomed in the 1880s when Queensland enjoyed a surge of economic growth. Farmers began converting the molasses which was leftover from sugar refining into rum, and little distilleries began to crop up. Some came together in a co-operative called the Bundaberg Distilling Company. In 1961 the Bundaberg company introduced the polar bear as its mascot, to imply that the rum could ward off the coldest chill.

While the name Bundaberg has character and is part of history, it's not a moniker which rolls readily off the tongue. Bundaberg's a town near the coast, some four hundred kilometres north of Brisbane. With its tropical climate and rich soils, the area is ideal for sugar. Rum is traditionally distilled from molasses which remains after sugar is extracted from cane. Little independent distilleries grew around the nascent 19th century Queensland sugar industry. In 1888, several of the smaller producers banded together to establish the Bundaberg Distilling Company.

Bundaberg is a dark rum produced in Bundaberg referred to as Bundy by it's fans, who tend to be louder, more boisterous, letcherous, and more raucous than aficianados of fine Cognac. In 1888, several small sugar producers in central Queensland banded together to float a new public company, The Bundaberg Distilling Company. The new distillery made use of stockpiles of molasses leftover from the refining of local sugar plantations, and set about making the drink which has made Bundaberg famous for good taste and quality.

Bundaberg Rum is much more than just a spirit – it is a brand that represents all that is Australia. Bearing the name of the town in which it's made, this full bodied, rich and distinctive drink was created in 1888 when a consortium of local sugar millers formed the Bundaberg Distilling Company. Production ceased from 1907 to 1914 and from 1936 to 1939 after fires, the second of which caused rum from the factory to spill into the nearby Burnett River. The brand is entwined with Australia's heritage, and many say it's our national drink.

The first barrel of Bundaberg rolled out of the distillery in 1888. Production ceased from 1907 to 1914 and from 1936 to 1939, after two catastrophic fires which devastated the plant, the second of which spilled much of the distillery's inventory into the nearby Burnett River. Centenary Vat 100 is drawn and assembled from precious old stocks of Australia's finest Rum to celebrate 100 years of Bundaberg. Urban myth surrounding Vat 100 Centenary suggests that it was withdrawn from circulation and that any surviving bottles are a rarity.

The legend begins in New Orleans, where the Bulleit family emigrated from France in the 1700s. Around 1830, Augustus Bulleit moved from New Orleans to Louisville Kentucky, taking with him his talents and skill at brandy making. As a tavern keeper in Louisville, he began producing small batches of Whiskey. Relentless in his pursuit of perfection, he experimented with different recipes. When he found one that met his expectations, the inspiration for Bulleit Whiskey was born. After more than a century, the Bulleit family finally returned to Whiskey making in 1987.

Bowmore Distillery, one of the oldest in Scotland has stood on the shores of Loch Indaal, on the Hebridean Island of Islay, since 1779. Its close proximity to the sea is vital in determining the final character of Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, as is the strict adherence to the traditional production methods handed down to Morrison Bowmore Distillers Ltd in 1963. Bowmore is produced using water from the Laggan River from where it gathers the flavours of the rich Islay Peat, the same Peat that fires the Malt drying kiln.

Paul Pacult, one of the world's most knowledgeable spirits experts has described Bowmore as being in the top echelon of Scotland's whisky operations. Bowmore Distillery is one of an ever decreasing handful of distilleries to produce its own floor malted barley. The barley is still laboriously hand turned, by the Maltman, using the traditional wooden malt shovel. The maltings at Bowmore Distillery are very much alive and part of the production process and for visitors to the distillery, seeing a working maltings floor is a rare and special sight.

Bowmore Single Malt Whisky has won more awards and accolades than any other Islay single malt, including the unprecedented accolade of entry into the Hall of Fame at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Bowmore was the first, and remains the only, whisky distiller in the world to be awarded this accolade. Bowmore's close proximity to the sea is vital in determining the final character of the Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, as is the strict adherence to the traditional production methods handed down.
